DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EMPLEO
Lugar de trabajo: BUENOS AIRES
Provides technical support on Coriant solutions (both hardware and software) to Coriant customers, partners, account teams, Coriant deployment engineers and other TAC engineers via phone/email/fax consultation to independently troubleshoot & debug product problems Applies analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve product and network problems of moderate to high complexity Prepare presentations for the group regarding lessons learned, new releases and issues to avoid Share and transfer knowledge, and where necessary, mentor other members of the team Effectively utilizes moderate lab setups to recreate and solve problems Submits complete and correct Defect reports in area of expertise Acts as a technical expert and provides support on a world-wide basis Interacts across TAC teams and development teams at peer level Participate in products homologation and lab trials Monitor incoming calls and log cases on Coriant cases tracking system; Login to customer’s network to assist with troubleshooting; Perform hardware and/or software upgrades and expansions Collect logs from trouble system for the purpose of escalation to engineering Uses the tools and follow the Coriant procedures when troubleshooting a problem When required, travel to customer location to execute troubleshooting on site; Participate in writing Method of Procedures (MOPS), Acceptance Tests, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Knowledge Management solutions (KM) Eventually, executes equipment and project installations at Tellabs customers, performs system initialization and/or acceptance testing in accordance to Tellabs procedures Expected to usually work on business hours but projects often require working different shifts, extended shifts, weekends, holidays, and travel to an out-of-town job site may be required as much as 50%.
