We are looking for a capable Security Engineer, who enjoys security work
and possesses both deep and wide expertise in the security space. You
will make things more secure by protecting system boundaries, keeping
computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and
securing highly sensitive data.
* Core Responsibilities *
+ Perform vulnerability management for EdgeUno and its customers.
+ Operate EdgeUno’s SIEM platform.
+ Operate our Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform
+ Perform security incident response.
+ Perform regular pentests for EdgeUno and its customers.
+ Engineer the design, deployment, operation of corporate security
systems
+ Perform research, evaluation, and expert judgement for product
security planning.
* Requirements *
+ English Level B1+ is a requirement
+ Willingness to work in a rapid, fast paced environment
+ 2+ years of experience in similar positions
+ Knowledge in computer and network security
+ Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and
+ reporting
+ Linux system administration and hardening experience
+ Willingness to challenge existing thinking in a constructive way to
produce improvements
* Preferred Qualifications *
+ Experience with vulnerability management systems
+ Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
platforms
+ Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Perl or Python)
+ Experience in securing cloud-based platforms and private clouds (e.g.
Proxmox)
+ Experience with network telemetry (NetFlow, IPFIX) and associated
platforms (e.g. Kentik)
+ Experience with Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
+ Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) systems (e.g. Okta)
+ Experience with using and/or developing REST APIs
+ BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
(or equivalent experience)
